Here I am counting the hours. Will you come at the appointed hour? Maybe. Maybe not.
What’s the last time I asked you a favor? Yeah, you can’t recall now, can you. Because I don’t. I’m afraid to ask favors from friends. Don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I’d rather ask strangers for help.
If strangers thumb down their noses at my request for help that wouldn’t hurt so bad. Now, do you get me?
Friend, I’m not in trouble for now. But people close to me are in a bit of rough spot. They need help – your kind of help. If you deny them your time, I’d feel you deny me as well.
Will you stand by me and my friends?
Will I have to embarrass you by making a roll call here?
I’d rather not. It’s not the day for Jedi Anakin to lose his cool.
Come out of the woodwork and help your friends. Don’t let it be said that only the Ewoks have the gallantry to support your friends. Don’t let it be said that you take your own sweet time sipping tea while the horrific laser from the Death Star pound your friends into a messy pulp.
The light force needs you.
Your friends need you.
Cover our backs, young Jedi. Here – take your light saber. We got work to do.
